I am a retired military wife and homeschool mom. I have often joked that we started our second life when daughter graduated from school, and then less than a year later hubby retired from military. But the reality is, we did start a new life, because life as we had known it for so many years, went through a drastic change. 

It was about four years ago that my daughter started urging me to write. "You have a great imagination for storytelling!" She insisted. I didn't think so, but decided to give it a try. We spent many hours sitting at our local Wendy's brainstorming the story line for my books. And while she insists I have such a great imagination, she is the one that truly has the gift for writing action scenes and has given me many fantastic ideas to incorporate in my books.

My writing has become a family affair. My husband runs my website; I would have never been able to set it up and have it running smoothly. My daughter helps me keep up with all of the social media, and is now my full time writing partner. It didn't take us very long to realize that we each specialized in different areas, and when put together, we rock! The fact that the family is involved in making my dream come true makes this journey fun. We can be found sitting around the table tossing around ideas for future stories, or how a story can be improved often. 

When not writing, I love to read, and play games with the family. Friday night is family game night. I make homemade pizza and we play cards, board games, or WII tennis and bowling. I have broken at least ten WII tennis rackets from hitting the ceiling fan or furniture. I've even come close to hitting my own daughter! She doesn't think it is very amusing, but still loves to sit on the couch and watch mom and dad at war.

I’ve been writing for about four years. My mom was actually the one who going me started writing, convincing me to put my emotions down on paper. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. My life revolves around writing my stories. I love putting myself inside fictional worlds as I create them.

When not writing, I am busy with my dog Shadow who is the light of my life, or my two very spoiled cats. For hobbies I like jogging with my dog, target shooting with my recurve bow, or relaxing with a good movie or book.

Oh, and I live off of a dirt road, off of a dirt road, off a paved road in North Carolina, but please don’t hold that against me.

My Review:

I loved the story . Liz Johansson,James Bartlett and Ian Stone the main characters of this story and boy do they heat up the pages. Liz is a Nurse and Ian and James -ex cop run a protection/detective agency. One night Liz is at work she meets Trevor who was brutally beaten you have to read the book to find out why but this touches close to home for Liz she immediately feels a close connection between them his next of kin for her call someone called Big Daddy but she can't get a hold of him but does get a hold of a man name James on the other end she can't tell him what's wrong she can only tell Big Daddy but James won't have any of that so he gets just enough information out of her to know its bad and that they need to find Big Daddy it was no time and the ER was filled with three Hulking men that are sexy as sin. Liz introduces herself and immediately catches the eye of James he says so you're the Liz i talked to on the phone and her mouth drops open and she studders over her words a little and answers him cause when she made the call she couldn't believe that man got to her as much as he did. She takes them to see Trevor and Trevor calls her his Angel which adopts her into a circle she never dreamed of Club Genesis crew she has no idea what that means but she will find out. There is violence,love,submission,dominance,a ex that is deranged,humor and loads of passion. I give this book a 5 Star and would give it higher if i could the storyline is amazing i loved it as i said above this is a must have for your library it can be a stand alone book or part of the  The Doms of Genesis series they are all awesome.

Since P.A. DePaul first sounded out the words “See Spot run” and “See Jane walk,” she was hooked. Couple that with weekly trips to the library where she usually tried to get the maximum amount of books allowed, and watching both parents get lost in a book, you would think she’d get a clue that writing might be something she should investigate. But sadly, no. (She’s a little slow on the uptake.) After years of escaping into fantastical worlds in books, P.A. DePaul started to get an inkling in the back of her mind that she could probably create something fun too. But again, as she was slow to move on to anything concrete, the idea just continued to fester until she picked up J.R. Ward’s compendium, The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider’s Guide. Eureka! The three-way bulb in her brain finally clicked higher than the dim-watt. When she finished reading the “Advice and FAQs” section, her hands shook and her palms got sweaty. After she blinked away the lightheaded feeling, she thought to herself, “I can do this. I’ve read enough books to know what’s out there and what’s popular. I’m gonna give it a try.” Then she sat in front of her computer, chin in her hand, and drummed her fingers. What to write about? Even though she loved reading about vampires, werewolves, shape-shifters, and witches, she realized she had nothing new to offer. Frustrated, but not daunted, she went to bed and woke up the next morning with an idea; a concept that refused to go away. She loves action-adventure movies (if it blows up spectacularly, she’s there) and watching way too much TV. (Can everybody say “Procrastination?” To which she usually replies, “But it’s research!” Yeah, they don’t believe her either.). Her husband and three-year-old Shi Tzu, Montgomery, sometimes stand outside her closed office door and wonder, “Is she still alive? Do we dare bother her? What if she’s on a roll?” Monty usually answers by scratching on the wood anyway. Gotta love a dog who doesn’t care about boundaries! Good thing he’s so cute! -
